Mark Tungate is a British writer and journalist based in Paris. He is the author of five books about branding and communications, including Fashion Brands: From Armani to Zara, Adland: A History of Advertising and the forthcoming Luxury World: The Past, Present & Future of Luxury Brands.
Mark has a weekly column in the French media magazine Stratégies, and writes regularly about advertising, style and popular culture for the trends website WGSN. His work has appeared in The Times, The Independent and The Telegraph newspapers. He also writes the text for The Epica Book, an annual review of the best European advertising.
In addition, Mark teaches courses about branding and advertising at Parsons Paris School of Art & Design.
