Zlatko Jancic is an associate professor, Head of Communications Department at the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Ljubljana. He teaches Advertising Strategy, Marketing Management, Marketing Relationships and Strategic Marketing courses.
His career started in the biggest advertising agency in the region (now Studio Marketing/JWT). In twenty years of practice, prior to his full engagement at the University of Ljubljana in 1994, he created numerous campaigns for major Slovenian companies and governmental bodies.
Professor Jancic is an author of two books, one on marketing strategy, and the other on holistic concept of marketing and co-author of a book on Marketing Planning. Books are in Slovenian language, only. He has published articles in a Journal of Advertising Research, Journal of Marketing Management, Journal of Marketing Communications, etc.
