Rupert Slade has over 20 years of experience working in media. He started in London, where he worked up to director level at CIA Medianetwork. In 1998 he went to Poland where he was director of strategy at Initiative Media and latterly MD. In that time Initiative tripled in size and was media agency of the year. He went to Ireland in 2003 where he pitched and won Diageo (Guinness) for Initiative. He latterly worked For MindShare and then MediaCom in Russia. He moved to Hungary in December last year to run PHD Central Eastern Europe.
He passionately believes that media is as much an art as a science and loves to see great thinking make a huge difference to a clent’s business. In his spare time he runs, reads, wines and dines and tries to pick up bits of very difficult Eastern European languages.
