Katja Petrin Dornik

Katja started out as a copywriter at LUNA TBWA when she was finishing her master’s degree in communication studies. She later became a Creative Director, working for a long list of clients, among them ORTO (Slovene’s top youth mobile brand), Si.mobil, Ljubljanske mlekarne, Pivovarna Laško, Pivovarna Union, Delo, Vichy, BDF and others. In her career she has won numerous international and domestic advertising awards (Epica, Golden Drum, SOF, Effie, YoungGuns, Memefest and Magdalena). Believing in responsible advertising, Katja has also been an organizational member of Memefest, the international festival of socially responsive communication and art. To date she has been a jury member on New York festivals and Slovene advertising festival. Driven by her passion for constant creation, she is currently finishing a children’s fairy tale book.
