Born July 23, 1942, in Renke pri Zagorju, Slovenia.

Graduated on the department of psychology on the Faculty of Arts in Ljubljana.

During his years of studying, he spent a couple of months in the US and attended classes of psychology on the University of Pennsylvania.

First employed in Ljubljanske Mlekarne as the marketing manager. Later employed at Lek, a manufacturer of pharmaceutical and cosmetic products, on the subject of marketing as well. Cooperation with the companies of Revlon and Colgate Palmolive caused him further interest in marketing. He practiced marketing and preached it on the territory of Ex Yugoslavia.

Since 1977, he has been a director and a creative director of Studio Marketing, a marketing agency. He connected with the agencies Young & Rubicam, Ogilvy & Mather and was affiliated with the J. Walter Thompson (JWT) agency for many years. He is the founder of Studio Marketing agencies over the territory of Ex Yugoslavia.

He was the president of IAA in Slovenia, as well as the president of the Advertising Association of Yugoslavia, the co-founder of the regional festival JFTK (Yugoslav Festival of Marketing communications), the president of Art Director’s Club of Slovenia, a member of the Art Director’s Club of Europe (ADCE*) board.

He received many awards for creativity on regional festivals, as well as being a member of many juries, ADCE* and the NY Advertising Festival among others. He is the recipient of the National award for development of the marketing profession in the former Yugoslavia.

A lecturer on many events, a writer of articles and columns on the subject of marketing and advertising. Author of the book “CORPORATE DESIGN as a part of symbolic identity system of organisations.”

Retired, but still active as the Regional Creative Director in the Studio Marketing agencies.
