Publicis One & MSLGROUP to support Golden Drum as the Exclusive PR Agency Network Partner for the second year running.

Following a successful collaboration last year, Publicis One and MSLGROUP will once again join forces with the Golden Drum International Advertising Festival -one of the world’s most prominent creative competitions- as its Exclusive PR Agency Network Partners. The task at hand this year for MSLGROUP, the region’s leading PR agency network, is to connect the 23rd Golden Drum and this year’s festival theme “Inspired to Inspire” with its markets, opening up new ways and best practices to connect with local creative communities. The 23rd Golden Drum International Festival of Creativity, organized by the Slovenian Advertising Chamber, will take place from 18 to 21 October 2016 in Ljubljana, Green Capital of Europe 2016, in Slovenia.

23rd Golden Drum: Graham Lang will chair this year’s Best Piece Competition Jury

Graham Lang, Chief Creative Officer, Y&R Advertising, South Africa & Africa, was named the 23rd Golden Drum Best Piece Jury President. One of the most awarded creatives in the region has worked with blue-chip clients across every continent. During his career he has won every major industry award across traditional and non-traditional categories. Amongst other shows, he has been selected to serve on The One Show, Cannes Lions and D&AD judging panels.

23rd Golden Drum: Cannes Grand Prix winner Eduardo Marques will chair this year's Best Practice Competition Jury

Eduardo Marques, Executive Creative Director, 180LA, California, will be the 23rd Golden Drum Best Practice Jury President. The Brazilian, who neither plays football nor dances samba, is an exceptional creative who has amassed over 100 awards at renowned advertising festivals such as Cannes, Open Show, London Awards, D&AD, Clio, El Ojo, Wave and FIAP. Eduardo together with 180LA was awarded the Cannes Lions 2016 Grand Prix for Good.

23rd Golden Drum is coming to Ljubljana

23rd International Festival of Creativity Golden Drum which is being organized by the Slovenian Advertising Chamber and held from 18-21 October 2016 is leaving Portorož and moving to Ljubljana, right in the Ljubljana Castle. Inspired to inspire is Golden Drum’s new position promise which will guide the festival in this and coming years. In addition to a new location the competition program will also introduce many novelties this year. Entries whose creative solutions were based on the local spirit of an area can now enter in a new group and compete for the prize of "best capture of local spirit". Additionally a new Golden Drum Adriatic award will be awarded to the region where the Golden Drum was created. The year's deadline for entry submissions is 29 August 2016. Entry registration system is now open!

Golden Drum 2015 Winners are known

With 183 points, Young & Rubicam was awarded the Golden Net award for the most successful agency network at the festival. With 93 points, the agency McCann//MRM Romania was awarded the Golden Rose award for the most successful agency and the agency GMP Advertising from Romania won the Tartini Award for the most successful independent agency with 23 points. The most awarded brand of the Golden Drum Festival with 46 points collected, the brand Vodafone was awarded the Golden Drum Brand Grand Prix award, while the Good Cause Brand Grand Prix Award went to agency New Moment New Ideas Company for the entry Button for Help (X_031_G15).
