Golden Drum here we come!

A whole day of the Golden Drum 2009 programme (Wednesday, October 7) will be for the first time dedicated to PR. The Premiere day will feature interactive debates, PR campaigns competition and a “young PR” get-together. For the first time, too, the PR experts, brand new PR mavericks and university students of the subject will be showcasing their inventive campaigns and compete for awards in all PR categories all the way to the Grand Prix Award.

The whole day will be exclusively dedicated to public relations in general, its characteristics, its trends and its ever growing importance. We will brainstorm about new inventive ways and approaches of PR campaigns that are becoming inevitable in this work and showcase the best cases around Europe to the audience.

19 various categories will be available for agencies, companies and media to enter their work and thus prove that Europe has many outstanding and innovative PR campaigns that deserve a presentation to the wider public. They will be judged by international jury of PR and communications experts from different parts of Europe: communications strategy specialist Alfred Autscher (Austria), deputy CEO of Trimedia International; Grzegorz Kiszluk (Poland), owner of AdPress publishing house and editor in chief of Brief magazine; Francesco Lurati (Switzerland), specialist in corporate communications; Bátlint Nagy (Hungary), head of corporate communications at Vodafone Hungary and president of Hungarian Advertising Association; and Dejan Verčič, Ph. D. (Slovenia), co-founder and partner of PR & communications group Pristop, president of the jury.

Join us for this great adventure and compete for the Grand Prix PR award
