In relation to one of the leading themes in Igor’s book Dinamične komunikacije (Dynamic Communications), his lecture will explore how in the 1950’s, Rock ‘n’ Roll initiated globalization as we know it today and how music fell into a great crisis with the emergence of internet. Igor will show why music is an ideal product as it doesn’t need warehouses, ferries, containers etc. to make a global impact. A musician has to evolve from a good performer into a unique compositor and create a hit! Otherwise all he is left with is performing on hotel terraces and at weddings, in spite of the excellent technical understanding of the instrument.Location: Emerald Hall
