Andrew Rawlins


Founder of Epica Awards

Andrew Rawlins was born in the UK and lived in Egypt, Italy, Germany and the States before settling down in France in 1975. He received an MBA from Columbia University in New York and started his career as a Brand Manager with Lever's in 1969. In 1972 he moved to Frankfurt as an Account Director at Compton (before the agency became Saatchi & Saatchi) and continued in this role at Dupuy Compton in Paris. After the merger with Saatchi he created a second French agency for the group called Compar before moving on to become president of DMB&B. In 1987 he created the Epica awards which celebrate their 25th anniversary this year.
