James is an analytics research specialist on the media & platforms team. In this role, he focuses on the effectiveness of advertising beyond simple click analysis into areas that track behaviour over time. He is involved in a number of projects to help improve advertisement quality. Prior to joining Google, he worked in analytics and programming for companies such as Citibank, Ogilvy and Pearson.

James has a bachelor's degree in economics from the London School of Economics, and completed a postgraduate program of study in mathematics at the University of Oxford.
