PR students
In cooperation with SS PRSS (Student Section of the Slovenian PR Association), the Golden Drum Festival started for the first time a special competition in the field of PR dedicated to students. They were invited to submit a short video (2 min. max) on the subject “What is PR?”, among which the jury pre-selected the best 10 videos and out of these awarded the best one.Click here to read more about PR competition
Blue Tooth
Blue Tooth is the first film festival based on movies made with a mobile phone.Under the premises of Nokia who is supporting the creativity of all mobile users, a “mini Blue Tooth” competition took place on the Golden Drum festival, starting on its first day and closing on the last day of the festival.

Studio Drum
The live cinematic advertising workshop, a kind of Portotrož Piran film ex tempore, was a unique creative happening. Six film directors shot before the eyes of the participants a creative cinematic idea on a given topic revealed at the beginning of the happening. This was the 6th year that the Golden Drum Festival featured the Studio Drum Bernardin director's show.Click here to read more about Studio Drum competition
