At the grand final ceremony on Friday evening this year’s Golden Drum winners were announced. In 2009 Golden Drum received 2.474 entries overall, 1.070 in categories Film, Press, Outdoor and Radio. The grand ceremony revealed the remaining 17 Silver Drums, 11 Golden Drums, one Silver Winged Nike, one Golden Winged Nike as well as 2 Golden Drum Grand Prix Awards. The flattering title, Golden Rose for the best New European Agency of the year, was given to LEO BURNETT BEIRUT, a part of LEO BURNETT network, which was also granted the Golden Net Award.

V Portorožu se je v petek zaključil 16. festival Zlati boben, kjer so na zaključni gala prireditvi podelili še zadnje nagrade. Letos se je na festival prijavilo 2.474 del, od tega 1.070 v skupini Film, tisk, mediji na prostem in radio. Na zaključni prireditvi, ki jo je s svojim obiskom počastil tudi predsednik države Danilo Türk, je bilo podeljenih še zadnjih 17 nagrad Silver Drum, 11 nagrad Golden Drum, ena Silver in ena Golden Winged Nike nagrada kot tudi dve prestižni nagradi Grand Prix. Laskavo nagrado Golden Rose za najboljšo agencijo leta v Novi Evropi je dobila agencija LEO BURNETT BEIRUT, del mreže LEO BURNETT, ki ji je končni seštevek na festivalu pridobljenih točk prinesel nagrado Golden Net Award.

Tonight the first PR Premiere on the 16th Golden Drum festival presented the first PR winners in the history of the festival. The award was presented in 10 out of 19 categories. The Grand Prix winner is SCHERF COMMUNICATIONS agency from Israel for Israeli Water Crisis campaign in the Government relations and public affairs category.

Davi so bili na festivalu Zlati boben prvič v zgodovini festivala razglašeni zmagovalci v tekmovalni kategoriji PR. Nagrade so podelili v 10 od 19 kategorij. Agencija SCHERF COMMUNICATIONS je prejela Grand Prix za kampanjo Israeli Water Crisis v kategoriji Government relations and public affairs.

Zlati Boben se vsako leto prične z Media Meetingom – konferenco in tekmovanjem na temo trenutnega stanja v medijih in vpliva na posle na področju komunikacij. Prvi dan, v ponedeljek, 5. oktobra, bo na festivalu diskusija potekala o trendih na področju tradicionalnih množičnih medijev, ki dandanes vključujejo vse poleg digitalnih. Bob Garfiled je v svoji knjigi The Chaos Scenario tradicionalne medije opredelil kot pogubne in brez prihodnosti, na drugi strani pa priznani strokovnjaki govorijo, da so prav tradicionalni mediji večni.

Festival, ki se bo odvijal v Portorožu od 4. do 9. oktobra, predstavlja enkratno priložnost za nadgrajevanje znanja in pridobivanje novih poznanstev iz strokovnih voda. Golden Drum je dogodek, ki se ga resnično ne sme zamuditi! Vsako leto privabi številne agencije, podjetja, medijske hiše ter študente, ki lahko v okviru festivala tekmujejo v različnih kategorijah na mednarodni ravni. Dela tekmovalcev ocenjuje izbrana mednarodna žirija, ki jo sestavljajo priznani strokovnjaki s področja komunikacij. Letošnji festival bo popestrilo tudi nekaj novosti.

Golden Drum festival will be held in Portorož, Slovenia, from 4th – 9th October, and will present a unique opportunity to evolve one’s knowledge and skills. It is a great occasion to expand the circle of professional acquaintances and should not be missed! Every year the festival brings together a selected crowd of experts, agencies, companies, and students who are given a chance to shine as there are many categories in which participants can compete and present their ideas. Their work is showcased in front of international jury that provides professional feedback and selects the winners. This year’s Golden Drum presents a few novelties.

Golden Drum Report 2008

1.594 participants from 42 countries attended the 15th Golden Drum festival. 2.753 entries from 44 countries competed for the awards. The Golden Rose award for the Agency of the year went to the Polish agency Change Integrated. Winners, juries, programme, parties...all Golden Drum moments are gathered in Golden Drum Report 2008.
