The Intercontinental Advertising Cup will start its third judging circle
The Intercontinental Advertising Cup will start its third judging circle on Sunday, 14 March in Sarajevo, Bosnia. No Limit Sarajevo Advertising Festival offered to host the third CUP after the postponing of ADFEST to May due to the threat of political demonstrations in Thailand, where the Cup judging was first planned. The CUP jury will work from 14-18 March, 2010 and in 5 days select The Cup awards from the short listed entries from the Golden Drum, ADFEST, FIAP and ADC*E.

After ADFEST was postponed due to a difficult political situation Thailand is facing, the organizers of The CUP decided to bring the world's most innovative global advertising festival – The Intercontinental Advertising CUP to Sarajevo.
The grand finale of the Intercontinental Advertising CUP 2009 with the Awards Ceremony will be held on March 18, 2010 in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Bomb attacks on Intercontinental Advertising CUP
Vinit Suraphongchai, Chairman of ADFEST announced postpone of Asia Pacific advertising festival in Pattaya because of bomb attacks and serious rioting has broken out in Thailand, the stringent security measures are made by Thai authorities until it will be certain that the situation returns to normal.
As The CUP judging and Award Ceremony were planned together with Adfest, the new information about the date and the place are expected in 48 hours.
Dario Vince and Akira Kagami, new members of The Cup jury
A new member of The Cup jury in Pattaya is Dario Vince, Chief Creative Officer, Digitel&, Croatia, the most awarded man in Croatia, who was the member of the jury at Golden Drum 2009. Akira Kagami, Executive Creative Director & Deputy Managing Director Dentsu Inc, Tokyo, one of the most respected and awarded creatives of the world, will also join the jury.

Sir John Hegarty, Worldwide Creative Director of Bartle Bogle Hegarty, UK, one of the most creative man of the world, will be a member of the jury of the Intecontinental Advertising CUP Selection 2009 in March 2010 in Pattaya.
John Hegarty was last year Grand Jury president of 360 Lotus, Innova Lotus and Lotos Roots at ADFEST.

To all Golden Drum 2009 finalists - how to compete at The CUP
The 3rd CUP's award ceremony on March 18 will be the first event of the 2010 ADFEST in Pattaya, and will simultaneously launch the 4th CUP cycle as well. Results will be presented at 2 major global ad portals ADFORUM and XIPAX, on The Cup web site and on the web sites of participating festivals ADFEST, FIAP, ADC*E and Golden Drum. All festivals will also hold special winners’ presentations at their events in the year 2010.
